This is one of my favorite holidays.

We are heading to Berryton, Kansas, to enjoy our traditional feast with my folks, along with two out of our three adult daughters. We always have a wonderful time sharing old memories and making new ones.

As every day, I am thankful on this "official" day of thanks for my family, life, health, work, family, friends, freedom, soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, firefighters, and the gift of eternal life won for the entire human family by Jesus the Messiah.

[FYI, the Krull Twins, Kirsten and Anneliese, teamed up to harvest this 27 pound gobbler in 2008 on our family property outside Mound City, Kansas.  And, yes, we all enjoyed this "organic/hormone-free fowl" for Thanksgiving that year.]
