On Veterans Day, November 11, we remember all of those who have served in the United States military and worn the cloth of our nation.
However, on Memorial Day, the third Monday in May, we remember all of those who have given "the last full measure" of devotion in their service to this great nation.
And there sure have been a lot of them.
We living Americans owe a debt of gratitude we can never repay to each of these fallen American "heroes" honored today.
Offer a prayer of thanksgiving as you remember their sacrifices.
What if they could see the condition of the United States of America on May 29, 2023?
Would they, individually and collectively, believe their ultimate sacrifices were worth it?
Just a thought to mull over this Memorial Day.
